Aldana Studios provides more than a beautiful concept. We create a complete design roadmap and remain available throughout the contractor installation process to help protect the vision, support communication, and guide the project from the first idea to the completed outdoor environment.
Our Process
Every project begins with a detailed consultation. We learn about your property, lifestyle, design preferences, priorities, budget, and long-term goals. We also evaluate the site and identify opportunities, limitations, and HOA requirements that may affect the project.
We document the existing property conditions, measurements, elevations, access points, utilities, drainage considerations, and existing features. This information creates the foundation for an accurate and well-planned design.
We develop the initial landscape concept, establishing the overall layout, circulation, outdoor living areas, planting zones, hardscape, lighting, water features, and other major elements. The goal is to create a functional design direction that reflects your vision and complements the architecture of your home.
The concept is brought to life through detailed 3D renderings and virtual walkthroughs. This allows you to experience the proposed space before construction begins. We review your feedback and refine the design through the included revision process.
Once the design is approved, we prepare the final design package. Depending on the project scope, this may include dimensioned plans, material selections, planting schedules, lighting layouts, construction details, and HOA-ready drawings. These documents provide contractors with a clear roadmap for pricing and building the project.
The completed design package can be provided to qualified landscape contractors for detailed pricing. Aldana Studios can assist with reviewing proposals, comparing scopes of work, identifying exclusions, and helping you understand the differences between contractor bids.
The installation agreement is completed directly between the homeowner and the selected licensed contractor.
Before installation begins, we can meet with the selected contractor to review the plans, materials, construction details, project sequencing, and design intent. This helps answer questions early and reduces the possibility of misunderstandings, unexpected changes, or costly mistakes during construction.
The selected contractor manages the construction, scheduling, labor, materials, permits, and installation process. Aldana Studios remains available for design-related questions and can coordinate with the contractor when clarifications or design decisions are required.
Optional site visits can be scheduled during key stages of construction. During these visits, we compare the installation with the approved design, review important design elements, and identify visible deviations that may affect the overall vision.
These visits are intended to protect the design intent and do not replace the contractor’s responsibility for construction methods, safety, scheduling, code compliance, or workmanship.
Near the completion of the project, we can conduct a final walkthrough with the homeowner and contractor. We review the completed space, identify remaining design-related items, and help confirm that the finished landscape reflects the approved vision.
